About Gilson Bailey
Gilson Bailey was established in 1995 following a management buy-out from the Norwich and Peterborough Group. Stuart Baird was an original partner at this time and having worked together previously, Donna Barrett-Smith joined in 1998. Successfully specialising in residential sales Gilson Bailey swiftly took its place as a leading independent estate agent in the city setting itself apart with its 7 day opening and energetic approach to selling.
With our desire to offer established and new clients a quality residential lettings and property management service, Gilson Bailey Lettings was formed in 2011 and has vastly expanded under the watchful eye of Lettings Director David McMaster. The property management team now manage a sizeable portfolio throughout Norwich and extending into the Norfolk villages, offering unique services such as our pre check out inspection and no quibble, on time rental guarantee scheme.
In 2015 the team at Gilson Bailey proudly celebrated our 20th anniversary with a new fresh, modern look, from our striking oval boards through to our mobile friendly website. But we kept some things the same…
Our team is packed with familiar friendly faces who get results and most importantly they care, which is why our business has continued to go from strength to strength with returning clients and recommendations.
We are concentrated in one location with all the required skills and services under one roof, as independent agents we can act swiftly and adapt easily to changing markets. Our different approach to business is highlighted by some unique features, like short contracts and a bespoke rental guarantee package. Our first class teams, with longer opening hours, work harder to meet the needs of our customers and have an envied reputation for ‘going the extra mile’.
For further reassurance of our professionalism, we are licenced members of NAEA (www.naea.co.uk), ARLA (www.arla.co.uk) and The Property Ombudsman (www.tpos.co.uk). Propertymark Conduct and membership Rules (www.propertymark.co.uk/media/1045366/conduct-and-membership-rules.pdf)
