Moved to GB after my original agents sold out to a National. I always feel there is a caring and personal approach at GB, both as landlord and for my tenants. The advice they give me always feels spot on and they do what they say they are going to do. I was a bit worried when a long-standing tenant suddenly gave notice but the changeover has been fantastically well managed with only an advisory week gap between tenants, and I have had to do remarkably little to support the process. Well worth the management fee! More than happy to recommend and use again.

Had a few experiences with estate agents in last 18 months and Gilson Bailey have been the best so far. I picked them because they had been selling a high volume of houses in the area k was selling and agent filled me with confidence that they had enough clients on their books that they could not only sell the house quickly but get me higher sale price than I expected. They were so confident that they offered the commission fees compared to others. That didn’t mean any less of a service though and I was really pleased with the after sales team as they kept me informed of what was going on much more regularly than sone other agents had previously. Louise was fantastic with her communication and keeping me in the loop as to where we were in process and with chasing things along with the buyers solicitors. Was a great experience and would recommend them.

My property has just completed through Gilson Bailey and I must say they have been fantastic through the whole process. When there has been complications with third party companies or legal documents etc which I wasn’t too sure about they have been able to help me understand what was expected of me and what I needed to do. All the staff I have spoken to have all been super friendly and helpful. The sales staff that got allocated to me was a lady called Lauren and she couldn’t have been more helpful with the whole sale. She has gone above and beyond to help everything complete in a nice timely manner. I thank the whole team at Gilson Bailey and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I used Gilson Bailey for the sale of my flat. It is the first property I have sold, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I was kept well informed as to when viewings were booked as the property was empty. When the first sale fell through, they were quick to get the property back on the market and find another buyer. On the day we were due to exchange contracts, the buyers solicitor missed some documentation so the exchange had to be delayed. I was kept well informed by the team, especially Louise as to what the situation was and what needed to happen for the sale to proceed. The management of my sale was fantastic and without the clear communication I received, I don’t think things would’ve gone so smoothly. Thank you.

They were fantastic from start to finish, so helpful throughout the whole process and I have never come across another agency so responsive to emails! I dealt with a few members of staff, but I'd like to say a special thank you to Lauren and Louise who did a lot of work behind the scenes to help us facilitate the completion date we hoped for. We recently sold our home in Norwich and decided to use Gilson Bailey having been impressed by them when we bought our home 7yrs earlier. I'm not sure what qualifies as excellent service regarding estate agents, but Gilson Bailey were always prompt to reply to questions, honour appointments, and keep us updated during the conveyancing process, which are all certainly the most important things to us during what can be a stressful time. I found their explanations easier to understand than the legal jargon being used by the solicitors to the transaction and all the staff in branch were happy, professional and always keen to help. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I would definitely recommend Gilson Bailey. When selling my house the team were professional, marketed my house quickly and achieved a quick sale at the price I was aiming for. It was, however, in the conveyencing where I would particularly like to extend my gratitude and particularly to Louise. In a stressful time, Louise constantly kept me informed with what was going on, was empathetic and chased other parties relentlessly - I don't think that things would have moved as quickly without her chasing. I had originally engaged with another estate agent to sell my property but after 8 months tied into a contract with poor service, I went back to Jack as he had kept in contact and was confident he could sell at a good price with no lengthy tie in. He proved correct and I had 3 offers within a week. So I recommended to my partner who then sold theirs within a week too. The service beyond that has been nothing short of exceptional and Louise in particular has continually gone above and beyond in chasing everything for us and keeping us updated when our own solicitor was the opposite. It's been very stressful but I cannot thank Louise enough for her help and advice. On top of that she came across genuinely excited for us and couldn't wait to share the news when we finally exchanged.

Great service from Gilson Bailey from start to finish. The show around of the property I purchased was well done and the viewings were put in place very efficiently and quickly by Lauren. Tom and Louise have done a great job keeping me updated and informed on the progress of my purchase and were readily available to answer any questions. Very smooth operation overall and would highly recommend.

My first experience with gilson bailey did not meet my expectations. However, after leaving a review expressing my disappointment, I received a call from the company to see if there was anything they could do to better my experience. We agreed to view a couple more properties and the customer service was a lot better. They’ve been very helpful since and I appreciate all the help they’ve offered.

I felt really uncomfortable during a viewing of a flat as the the man showing me and my partner around didn’t make effort with showing us the property and made us feel he had some where better to be. We tried to look at certain aspects like a pull down bed and was told not to touch it as “we can look at it when we have the flat” which is ridiculous! I then tried to look out the window, which was covered with a broken blind, as there was a balcony and was told not to touch it (again). I came away feeling confused and discouraged by the interaction. the man showing us was an older gentleman wearing a distasteful matching beige suit.

My first house sale, and I couldn't have done it without all the help from everyone at the Norwich branch helping me every step of the way and helping me to navigate with solicitors. The house had so many views booked for us, the pictures were great and we sold so fast!! Can't recommend them enough for all their hard work and help. Would definitely use them again!!

When advertising our property they took outstanding pictures and got our property sold by the first day of posting.
